Just Like a Cockroach? Nope, that would be a step up.

Dear Southwest Ranches Friends and Neighbors:

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and if I don’t see you later…well then…Good Night!


On November 4th 2008 around 11:00PM it was clear that “we the people” had rid ourselves of an unethical councilman. In just a few short months it is evident that the Town of Southwest Ranches is the clear winner in this “restructuring” of our town council. Even though the former disgraced town councilman persists in claiming his loss was due to an ugly campaign, everything that was written about the ousted councilman (by his non-supporters) was the truth.

I am going to insert a quote by Mahatma Gandhi in right here because in modern day lingo this quote “hits the nail right on the head.”

"When I despair, I remember that all through this the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always."

Folks, even cockroaches have the decency to “scurry away” when the lights have been shown on them, returning only, in the cover of darkness, if they escape the imminent squashing into a corner with the pointed toe of a boot.

The former councilman has not had the decency to even take a lesson from cockroaches. He is right back in the bright of day attacking residents of Southwest Ranches whom he feels are responsible for his loss of November 4th. The former councilman has teamed up with his largest “campaign contributor”, a non-resident land owner of Southwest Ranches, to deal out some of his brand of vindictive, retaliatory, harassing, warped payback.

I’ve had the chance to review the complaint (lawsuit) made against not one, but two of our longtime residents of Southwest Ranches, it’s no secret, it’s public record. In a rambling fabricated civil action summons filed against Vincent Falletta and his son Anthony Vincent in the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County; a man and his wife who purchased property in Southwest Ranches in May of 2008, but do not reside on that property, have decided to punish two of our longtime residents who chose to campaign for the ousted councilman’s opponent. And whose name appears on the second page of the summons? In bold print it’s none other than the former disgraced ousted town councilman. Looks like he’s hit pay dirt. Rich folk are what the former councilman likes best. If he doesn’t play the “let’s make a divorce deal where he gets all the property” he just teams up with someone to pay his wayward way.

As you may have recently read in the April edition of the Sunshine Ranches Waggler, page 9, Mr. Falletta will be one of seven longtime residents honored on April 19th 2009 at 6:30 PM at Romeu’s Restaurant (6800 SW 160th Avenue) for their volunteer efforts regarding their contributions to the Town of Southwest Ranches, and then again on page 13 of the Sunshine Ranches Waggler, Mr. Falletta is again acknowledged as one of the Pioneers of Sunshine Ranches and is now so honored as a Lifetime Member of the Sunshine Ranches Homeowners association.

To Mr. and Mrs. “Richie Rich” who have purchased property in Sunshine Ranches less than one year ago and who are residents of Pembroke Pines, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You really got some bad advice from the former disgraced ousted town councilman and you certainly have hitched your wagon to an abomination of a human being. You should have done your homework. You’ve decided to sue some genuinely good people and I will go out on a limb here and say that the residents of the Town will show up in force as character witnesses for these two longtime resident individuals whom you have chosen to sue.

Oh and PS Mr. and Mrs. Richie Rich, neither Vince Falletta nor Anthony Vincent is me. That’s another bunch of ill advise you swallowed because the former disgraced ousted town councilman told you they were.
